The Programs Coordinator reports to the Director of Programs and Engagement and is responsible for coordinating program-related experiences for youth, families, and adults. This position requires a highly energetic and organized person who cares deeply about making arts experiences and education accessible to the community by collaborating with diverse organizations, schools, partners, and artists. The Programs Coordinator will also be working closely with the Programs Manager. Position Responsibilities •Assist in developing, delivering, and supporting all Center programs, with an emphasis on youth programming. •Serves as the main point of contact for program instructors, volunteers, participants, and stakeholders to ensure program needs are met. •Provide content and details including program descriptions, schedules, timelines, teacher bios,headshots, and contact information for various platforms, both internal and external. •Support the department with fulfillment of program partnership and agreements. •Support the department’s outreach efforts to ensure visibility throughout the community. •Support the department’s ongoing marketing and promotional initiatives. •Support instructors and volunteers in a way that cultivates a positive, mutually beneficial relationship. •Schedule and facilitate field trips, school programming, youth art competitions, and other youth-centered opportunities. •Organize end of semester performances, art exhibitions, and receptions as needed. •Provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all program participants and instructors. •Assist with tracking attendance for programs. •Oversee day-to-day arrival and dismissal of students. •Provide support to volunteers for on- and off-site programs. •On occasion, assist with execution of large-scale fundraising events and programs. •Other duties as assigned.
